Our Kids Ministry

Family Worship
At the Father's House, we participate in Family Worship! That means our kids join us during the time of singing, praise, and worship at the beginning of the service. After some time, the leaders of the Clubhouse will signal the kids to file in line and are led to the classrooms.
It's usually a powerful time as the kids engage with God and their families for a time of worship. We desire that the kids are free to sing, stand, dance, or sit, but parents, we ask that you would be responsible for leading them in worship--to look after your children, keep them disciplined, and as free from distraction as possible. We know kids will be kids, but we realize keeping them in the room while we worship is a great way to introduce them and invite them into a genuine encounter with God!
Our Vision
Our vision is to equip and activate our children into God's Kingdom as they grow in identity and encounter Him.
From the very beginning, we had a large number of kids and young parents in our fellowship. We knew immediately that family was very important to what God was building within our church. We begin to develop a plan to minister to and accommodate all of the children we hosted each week. This has turned into our Kid’s Ministry known as the Father’s Clubhouse.
The Father’s Clubhouse is a ministry for ages 3-11. Each week, there is a dynamic teaching lesson, interactive songs, fun activities, and a chance to really grow up in the Lord. We really believe it is important to help the kids know who they are in Christ in a safe and Spirit-filled environment. There’s no baby-sitting going on here--The children will learn to pray for and with each other. They will learn to enjoy celebrating Jesus through worship and seeking His presence. They will grow in a love for the Lord through His Word. And, they will be able to share the message of God’s love in an authentic and powerful way.
What We Teach
What are your kids going to learn about at the Clubhouse?
Our Values--Encounter, Stewardship, Creativity, Generosity, Honor, Liberty, Testimony, and Family
Various Curriculum--We generally schedule lessons weeks in advance based on various curriculum that invite the children into a foundation of the Word, fun activities, a time of worship/reflection, fellowship, and activation.
Age Groups at The Father's Clubhouse
Nursery: 0-2 years old
Clubhouse Toddlers: 3-4 years old
Clubhouse KidsChurch: 5-11 years old
Safety and Security
Keeping children safe is our primary focus. At the Father's House we have planned a smooth and efficient children’s check in and pick up process to give parents and guardians confidence that their children are safe--please remember to pick up your children after service, or we will not release your child from the classroom.
From time the time, your children may need some parental assistance. In these cases, we may send a leader to communicate with the parent, or we may bring the kid if necessary. Please understand that we do the best we can with the leaders guidance, but there are cases where the parent's help is best for the child and situation.
The Father's House has your child’s best interest in mind when it comes to safety and security. All of our volunteers are screened before they are allowed to minister to our children.
